Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse in Rochester, MN. The RN will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering age-specific care from infants to geriatrics and supporting patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, education, sedation under protocol, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe, effective care and transitions across units.

Qualifications

• RN graduate with nursing degree from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA recognized program.
• One year of RN experience required.
• ACLS & PALS required within one year of hire.
• Currently working as an RN in direct patient care.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab from infants to geriatric patients.
• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments and education.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure protocols and educational needs are met.
• Provide moderate sedation and monitor patient status per protocols and ACLS guidelines.
