Job Summary

Assists with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures, reviews medical history, positions patients, and prepares testing sites.
• Interprets, describes, and reports test results; recognizes recording errors and reacts appropriately.
• Monitors patient during procedures and reports abnormal findings.
• Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies, and lab area.
• Ensures equipment functionality and reports issues.
• Maintains a clean and orderly department.
• Performs point of care testing as per policies.
• Works safely and alertly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree or completion of a Cath Lab certification program.
• No experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing, walking, and frequent use of vision, hearing, and speech.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (0-25 lbs.), reaching, gripping, data entry.
• Occasional lifting (25-50 lbs.), bending, stooping, and other movements.

Licenses & Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS (preferred)
• Licensed Radiographer (Wisconsin)
