Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting R.N. in patient care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Functioning in call-out situations by scrubbing and operating the x-ray table.
• Archiving digital data and maintaining image review stations.
• Post-processing digital data to provide additional clinical information to physicians.
• Functioning effectively in Code Blue situations.

Qualifications required:

• 1 year of experience in the field or related area.
• Preferred: prior Cath Lab experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT and Texas Department of Health Radiology Technologist certification or RCIS certification.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
