Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NJ Diagnostic Radiology licensure, ARRT.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Mansioni

• Obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level.
• Identify each patient prior to the exam using two patient identifiers.
• Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxiety and explaining treatment.
• Perform portable X-ray examinations in patient rooms, ORs, and ER.
• Provide lead shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
• Accept assignments as prescribed by the Medical Imaging Coordinator and complete tasks.
• Enter data using electronic medical records.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
• Maintain HIPAA-related policies and procedures.
