Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the cath lab team, operating fluoroscopy and assisting physicians during cardiac procedures. The role requires safety-conscious operation of radiologic equipment and accurate documentation.

Required are an associate degree in radiologic sciences, BLS, and ARRT with state licensure; ACLS within 6 months is expected. Bachelor’s in radiologic sciences is preferred, with 2 years of allied health experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences is preferred.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT registration and state licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist team in patient setup and pre/post-procedure care.
• Operate radiographic fluoroscopy equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient vitals and report values to the physician.
• Document procedures in the log for accurate billing and interventions.
• Maintain radiation safety and minimize staff exposure.
