Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist for full-time, 10-hour shifts in the Los Angeles area. This role conducts general and specialized radiographic procedures for a diverse patient group in a high-acuity setting.

Sign-on bonus offered. The position requires ARRT credentials, Cath/EP experience and strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork to support patient care within PIH Health’s integrated network.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT or ARRT eligible
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment
• Obtain Basic EKG Interpretation certification within 1 year of employment

Responsibilities

• Independently perform radiographic procedures for a group of patients per policies and procedures in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Responsible for independently performing all general and specialized radiographic procedures for a group of patients based on policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• At least five years radiological imaging experience in an acute care hospital, including critical care or proficiency in one of the following imaging-related modalities: CT, MRI, US, Mammography or special procedures and three years experience in that additional medical imaging-related modality.
• Or one year Cath/EP lab experience.
• Intra-aortic balloon insertion
• Peripheral and coronary angioplasty procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
