Job summary

Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Kentucky is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our trusted care team. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate treatments, and support physicians during interventional studies in a fast-paced cardiac suite.

Requirements include RN licensure in Kentucky, BLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and prior Cath Lab or critical care experience. This is a part-time role with a schedule of three days per week and regular on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Nursing (RN) licensure by KY Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have ACLS or complete ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
• Prior Cath Lab Experience Preferred.
• 1 Year of RN critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React accordingly to emergencies.
• Administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatments

What you will do in this role:

• You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
