Job summary

Mount Carmel in Ohio is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to assist the interventional cardiologist, scrub, circulate, and monitor procedures from diagnostic to interventional angiography. A 30-minute call response time is required and call coverage is expected.

The role emphasizes image quality and radiation safety, with accurate RIS charge entry and on-call responsibilities as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT-registered radiographer with valid Ohio radiological license; CI or CV registry preferred.
• 2 years work experience in diagnostic radiography; angiography/cardiac catheterization or surgery experience preferred.
• Maintain current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of interventional radiography procedures with emphasis on optimal image quality.
• Enter on-line charges in RIS and ensure accuracy per policy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Follows Radiation Safety guidelines per policy manual.
