Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Radiology - Cardiovascular Invasive Tech in Denver for a 13-week assignment. You will support the cardiac cath lab during invasive procedures, assist physicians with imaging, and maintain sterile conditions.

Requires ARRT or RCIS within 18 months, BLS/ACLS and fluoroscopy certification; two years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience preferred; HS diploma required. This role emphasizes patient education, documentation, and safety.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.
• Must-have: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• License: ARRT or RCIS required within 18 months of hire.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fluoroscopy Certification; vendor badges may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN.
• Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Acts as scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events.
• Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and expectations.
• T teaches patients and families about pre and post procedure physical conditions.
• Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the unit.
• Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
• Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
• Identifies potential areas for improvement and safety hazards; supports quality initiatives.
