Scrubs, circulates and monitors peripheral/vascular cases and right and left heart catheterizations; may scrub devices and work in EP cases.The unit uses XIM (division of Witt, Philips charting), Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens and Philips fluoroscopy systems.Orientation focuses on monitoring in XIM and on effective scrubbing and circulating.
Varying 4-10 hour shifts are scheduled at 0530-1600, 0630-1700 and 0730-1800.Will be on the mandate list to fill any vacant call that is not picked up.On-call coverage is 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, with a 30 minute response time.
