Job summary

SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, IL, seeks an Radiology Angiography Technologist to join a full-time team. The role involves complex vascular imaging and interventional procedures, supporting radiologists and ensuring patient safety.

Requires completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R Radiography, with BLS HCP and ALS credentials. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants. 40 hours weekly, day shift.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Cardiovascular or Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential required.
• BLS HCP and ALS credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system and perform advanced imaging.
• Prepare patients, review history, position, and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, monitor safety protocols and document findings.
• Assist radiologists and other specialists during angio and interventional lab procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized department and comply with regulatory standards.
• May perform point-of-care testing and support patient care throughout procedures.
