Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in alignment with our policies and philosophy. The role includes professional leadership and supporting the healthcare team while upholding Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence standards.

The position requires correct state licensure, BLS/ACLS current on hire, and PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• BLS and ACLS (current on hire).
• Current state nursing license.
• PALS or NRP (current or obtained within 90 days of employment) in required specialty.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Maintain BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required for the specialty.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality outcomes.
