The role coordinates services with physicians, nursing, and hospital teams to reduce 30-day readmissions and improve patient experience.

You will drive accreditation initiatives, oversee disease-specific cardiovascular quality programs, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with national standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure (or compact state).
• Nurse Practitioner preferred and encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality/Patient Safety, Regulatory, or Data Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Exercises authority and accepts accountability for consistent, evidence-based cardiac care.
• Leads Chest Pain Accreditation initiative and keeps mandatory elements updated.
• Collaborates on Disease Specific Cardiovascular Quality Program with Medical Director and Committee.
• Leads TAVR Clinical Patient Navigation and coordinates care processes.
• Delegates management of processes to staff.
• Creates a shared vision with the facility team to achieve mission and vision of Cardiac Division.
• Demonstrates leadership with problem solving, delegation and time management.
• Leads multidisciplinary efforts to improve Cardiac Care Processes and outcomes.
• Reviews metrics from STS, ACC, and NCDR TAVR Registries with the Senior Registry Analyst.
