Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current AHA BLS certification or obtain within first week of hire through HEART CODE required.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN direction in basic patient care: vital signs, hygiene, feeding and bathing.
• Perform basic treatments: glucose monitoring, setup for procedures, I&O, specimen collection.
• Provide unit support: respond to call lights within 2–5 minutes, stock supplies, transport patients.
• Transport specimens to lab and deliver pharmacy orders as needed.
