Job summary

Kettering Health in Dayton, Ohio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our heart and vascular service. The APP will work with a multidisciplinary team, perform history taking, exams, order entry, and interpret diagnostics, with on-call duties and weekend inpatient rotation.

Candidates must hold an APRN or PA degree with national certification, Ohio licenses, and BLS/ACLS. This is a full-time, first-shift role within our not-for-profit system, offering opportunities to impact patient

Qualifications

• APRN requires Master’s degree with Advanced Practice Nursing Focus and National Board Certification.
• PA requires Master’s degree with the appropriate National Certification.
• Licensure: Ohio APRN license and PA license with prescriptive authority, plus BLS and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced heart and vascular care with evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in weekend inpatient rotations.
• Perform history taking, clinical assessment, order entry, and interpretation of diagnostics.
• Ensure quality of care through documentation and QA activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
