Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to designated patient populations.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on findings.
• Maintains high-quality and timely documentation including notes and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as appropriate to the patient population.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies and procedures.
• Cares for ambulatory follow-up patients in the cardiac arrhythmia service.
