• MD/DO or foreign equivalent required.
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical operations of Cardiac Anesthesia across Montefiore Medical Center hospitals.
• Maintain current standards of care through continuing medical education.
• Interface with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain and improve ERAS protocol for cardiac procedures.
• Train and supervise CRNAs, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in team science to support faculty development.
• Collaborate with Anesthesia Technical Support to maintain equipment and supplies.
• Educate faculty and divisions about Cardiac Anesthesiology advances.
• Create hiring and onboarding processes for new faculty.
• Support collaborative research to improve patient safety and outcomes.
