Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL, a Level I trauma center with a nationally ranked heart program.

The position offers a full compensation package including a $550K annual salary, $100K sign-on, and a $50K cardiac stipend, with comprehensive benefits and loan debt assistance. Board-eligible/certified physicians with an MD/DO and completed residency are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• Current medical licensure; ECFMG/FLEX if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
