Job summary

Vituity is recruiting board-certified or eligible cardiac anesthesiologists to join Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC. The role focuses on bread-and-butter heart cases without fellowship requirements, with CV case experience and optional TEE certification.

The position supports a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with overnight on-call every other cycle and a 100% beeper call when on duty. Partial FTEs are welcome and the team collaborates across CRNAs, AAs, and MDs.

• Current SC medical license a plus.

The Opportunity

• Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologists.
• Current SC state license is a plus.
• Opportunity to do bread and butter heart cases without a fellowship; 50 heart cases per year.
• Must be CV experienced; TEE certified a bonus.
• Regional Contract covering 2 hospitals, cross covering of facilities rare and not required.
• Great group and outstanding team. CRNAs, AAs and MDs are collegial and supportive of one another.
• 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation, low acuity call every other while on.
• Call responsibilities: Overnight call every other for 2 weeks then 2 weeks off. 100% beeper call.

The Practice

Coastal Carolina Hospital – Hardeeville, South Carolina

• 41-bed hospital and Level IV trauma center.
• 9,000 annual case volume.
• Over 5,000 surgery cases per year; approximately 1,000 OB cases per year.
• Case mix includes general, outpatient, urology, regional, orthopedic, and some high risk OB and Endo.
• Vituity-staffed Emergency Department offers integrated care solutions at this site!

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
