Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, is recruiting an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing team in West Reading, PA. This Magnet-designated, 697-bed teaching hospital offers a high-volume cardiovascular program and state-of-the-art operating rooms.

Qualifications

• MD/DO board-certified in Anesthesia with fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology.
• Board certification in Echocardiography is preferred.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesiology services for adult patients.
• Participate in intraoperative TEE assessment and management.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery and perfusion teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, Board Certified in Anesthesia, completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
• National Board of Echocardiography Certification to perform ultrasound assessment of cardiac health
• Advanced TEE placement and interpretation skills
• A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
• Highly computer literate and familiar with charting, EPIC experience preferred
• Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
• Sound judgment and expert decision‑making abilities
• Analytical thinker and complex problem‑solver
