Reading Hospital is recruiting an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. The position supports a Level 1 Trauma Center with extensive cardiac surgery services and a broad perioperative program in Reading, PA.

Reading Hospital is recruiting an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our growing team.

• 24 surgical suites, including 6 hybrid-capable operating rooms
• Eight minor procedure rooms
• 16 emergency treatment rooms and expansion to 5 trauma bays
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Pediatric Emergency Department

Qualifications

• MD/DO, Board Certified in Anesthesia, completion of a Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship
• National Board of Echocardiography Certification to perform ultrasound assessment of cardiac health
• Advanced TEE placement and interpretation skills
• A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
• Highly computer literate and familiar with charting, EPIC experience preferred
• Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
• Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
• Analytical thinker and complex problem-solver
