Job summary

Albany Medical Center, the Capital Region's academic medical center, seeks a cardiac anesthesiologist to join the Cardiac Anesthesia Division in the Department of Anesthesiology. This role supports a high-volume program with CABG, valve surgery, and aortic procedures, and a busy structural heart service.

You will teach fellows, residents, SRNAs, and students; participate in clinical and educational research; collaborate with cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and intensivists; and

Responsibilities

• Practice at the top of your specialty with a high-volume program covering CABG, valve surgery, and aortic surgery, plus a busy structural heart service (TAVR, TMVR, TEER, and more).
• Engage in teaching and mentorship for cardiac anesthesia fellows, residents, SRNAs, and medical students.
• Participate in clinical and educational research with mentors and institutional support.
• Collaborate with nationally recognized cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and intensivists in a multidisciplinary environment.
