Montefiore Einstein Department of Anesthesiology seeks a full-time, board-certified anesthesiologist to join as Division Director of Cardiac Anesthesiology. The role combines clinical oversight with leadership to guide growth across a growing health system.

The candidate will mentor CRNAs, residents, and fellows, align with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, and advance ERAS protocols while promoting education and research in cardiac anesthesia.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for New York State Medical License.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical operations of Cardiac Anesthesia services across Montefiore Medical Center hospitals.
• Maintain and advance evidence-based ERAS protocol for cardiac procedures.
• Train and supervise CRNAs, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with Cardiac Surgery leadership to optimize surgical workflow.
• Support and conduct collaborative research to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Educate faculty and divisions about Cardiac Anesthesiology advancements.
• Create hiring and onboarding processes for new faculty.
