Job Title: Card Room Attendant

BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a Card Room Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and focus on providing superior service to private country club members.

Essential Duties

1. Greet and assist members and guests in the card room, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
2. Respond to inquiries and resolve issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
3. Maintain an acceptable level of food, beverage, and card room supplies; notify management in advance when additional supplies are needed.
4. Set up and breakdown of all snack and beverage stations, including maintenance.
5. Offer beverage service, including cocktails from the bar.
6. Use POS systems (Jonas) for transactions.
7. Keep tables, counters, and side tables clear of dirty dishes and wastepaper.
8. Wash, dry, and restock coffee cups and snack dishes.
9. Fill and maintain snack containers, ensure they are stocked with fresh snacks, and place daily orders as needed.
10. Keep all card tablecloths clean; inform management if replacement or deep cleaning is needed.
11. Maintain a clean and organized storage area.
12. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
13. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
14. Perform other duties as requested.

Education/Experience

Less than high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Frequently stand and walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear. Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
