Retail Sales Associate - Card Pop USA
Joliet, IL (2 locations) | Part-Time / Full-Time

Card Pop is a growing specialty retailer for sports cards, trading card games (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Disney, Bandai, and more), and collectibles - and we're looking for a Sales Associate to join our team!

About the Role

As a Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our store - delivering legendary experiences to collectors of all ages, from kids with parents to competitive players and longtime hobbyists. You'll help customers find the perfect packs, singles, sealed product, and accessories, run the register, keep the sales floor looking sharp, and be part of a fun, fast-paced team culture. This is the entry point into real growth - our top performers move into Keyholder and management roles.

What You'll Do

• Greet every customer warmly and help them find what they're looking for - no high-pressure sales, just genuine, knowledgeable service
• Stay current on new releases, chase cards, and market trends across major brands
• Process sales accurately, handle cash drawers, and manage returns/exchanges
• Enroll customers in our Rewards Loyalty program
• Support in-store events, tournaments, and release parties
• Work as part of a team that has each other's backs

What We're Looking For

• Passion for (or eagerness to learn) sports cards, TCGs, and collectibles - hobby knowledge is a big plus
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (weekends, evenings, release days, and events)
• Strong attendance and punctuality track record
• Comfortable talking with all kinds of people and working as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25-50 lbs
• Must be able to pass a background check
