What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide direct technical assistance to correctional facility administrators and healthcare providers on Medicaid Reentry Initiative components
- Lead training sessions on Medicaid eligibility, pre-release service delivery, and care coordination
- Develop and maintain user-friendly resources such as checklists and training materials
- Collaborate with state Medicaid agencies and community organizations to promote integrated care models
- Monitor implementation progress and identify barriers, escalating complex issues as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in public health, criminal justice, healthcare administration, social work, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with correctional systems or justice-involved populations
- Experience developing cross-sector implementation tools and protocols
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to travel regionally and/or statewide up to 5 days per month
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Medicaid transformation efforts involving justice-involved individuals
- Familiarity with behavioral health and substance use treatment models in correctional settings
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
