Job summary

Toray CMA is seeking a hands-on operator for carbon fiber production in Moore, SC. You will work in a team to safely execute production tasks, maintain quality, and support safety goals in a dynamic lab environment.

You will analyze finished products, handle hazardous materials, maintain equipment, and document data while rotating 12-hour shifts. Overtime and procedures writing are part of the role, with strict adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; Chemistry BS preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Export control screening applies for citizenship/work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
• Support Supervisor and Specialist.
• Achieve safety, quality and production goals.
• Analyze finished product and raw materials.
• Handle hazardous waste material properly.
• Maintain, calibrate, verify and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Input data into records and prepare reports.
• Relieve teammates for breaks as scheduled.
• Assist in writing operational procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
