Job summary

Tokai Carbon Group is seeking a Carbon Black Shipper to safely load, transfer, store, and ship carbon black by railcar and truck. The role uses heavy equipment, stacks 50 lb bags, and maintains accurate loading records.

You will follow safety, environmental, quality and regulatory requirements, inspect equipment and paperwork, and support continuous improvement in a manufacturing/logistics setting. CDL preferred; 0-1 year experience acceptable; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment and commercial vehicles in manufacturing/logistics settings.
• CDL preferred; DOT-regulated driving experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Load vans, hopper trucks, and rail cars to goal weights with proper load locks.
• Operate forklift/tractor to move materials for packaging and shipping.
• Inspect equipment (hopper cars/trucks) and report issues; flag off-weight bags for accuracy.
• Document loading paperwork and check sheets accurately.
