Job summary

Bob's Rentals, operating as AVIS Rent a Car, is seeking a car detailer/cleaner in Springfield, MO to prepare our rental fleet for customers. You will clean interiors, check fluids, and help keep our cars ready and safe.

We offer $16/hour plus a $240 monthly attendance bonus, weekend and evening differentials, full-time hours, a $1,000 hiring bonus, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive multiple types of civilian vehicles with backup cameras.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of our rental cars: clean windows, wipe fingerprints, vacuum mats, remove trash, and prep cars for the next customer.
• Fill gas tanks, check fluid levels, and keep paper records of cars cleaned throughout the day.
• Exterior detailing is largely handled by an automatic washing station; perform spot cleaning as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• You will be asked to clean the interior of our rental car fleet including cleaning the windows of the cars, wiping off fingerprints from high touch areas, vacuuming dirt off the floor mats, removing trash from the vehicle, and any other misc. cleaning needed to get the cars ready for the next customer.
• In addition to cleaning the cars, employees will be asked to fill gas tanks, check fluid levels, and also keep paper records of the cars you are cleaning throughout the day!
• Detailing of the outside of the car is mostly taken care of from our automatic washing station, and spot cleaning is all that is required for the outside of the car.
