Job summary

Golden Nozzle Car Wash is hiring a Team Member to support daily operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced setting in Scarborough, ME. You will interact with customers, assist with sales and membership growth, maintain site cleanliness, and help optimize vehicle throughput while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, with basic math and communication skills, flexible availability including weekends, and a readiness to perform

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills (8th-grade level).
• Flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays; at least one weekend day.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Customer Interaction: Provide best-in-class customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Sales Support: Recite standard customer service greetings using an on-site electronic tablet and assist with executing sales initiatives and membership growth strategies.
• Site Maintenance: Help ensure the facility, equipment, and grounds are clean, safe, and fully operational at all times.
• Workflow Optimization: Support efforts to optimize vehicle throughput to minimize wait times and enhance the customer experience.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
• Operational Support: Perform general housekeeping duties and monitor inventory levels to assist with restocking chemicals and supplies.

Requirements

• Age: At least 16 years of age.
• Education: Read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations (such as making change) at an eighth-grade level.
• Availability: Flexible availability to cover shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays; working at least one day on the weekend is required.
• Adaptability: Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures during emergencies.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 lbs.
• Environment: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 100°F.
• Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, and move around vehicles for extended periods of time.
• Exposure: Ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
