Buckeye Express Car Wash in Elyria, OH is seeking a Team Lead to run daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will organize shifts, supervise staff, and handle customer issues while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Organizing shift schedules for team members
• Monitoring attendance, tardiness and time off
• Assigning duties to specific employees based on role and skills
• Supervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessary
• Managing employees’ requests and transgressions
• Training new and current team members on tasks
• Handling customer issues and managing conflicts
• Adhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standards
• Balancing cash drawers and preparing cash deposits
• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services to them; take and process wash payments to the satisfaction of customers and car wash
• Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized
• Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning car wash process
• Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude
• Points to directional sign; neutral, no-brake, no steering while watching the customer to ensure directions are followed
• Smiles at customer and does thumbs up after guest is in neutral with no brakes
• Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area
• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily
• Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung
• With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and fellow teammates.
