ClearWater Express Wash is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support equipment and facilities across Texas car wash locations in a hands-on role. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, and assist with new equipment installation across multiple sites.

The position requires 2+ years in maintenance, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to travel between Texas locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of maintenance, equipment repair, industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel between Tx locations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on commercial car wash equipment and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Repair, replace, and adjust equipment components.
• Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, sensors, valves, plumbing, and related systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify issues before major repairs.

About the Role

ClearWater Express Wash and BlueWave Express Wash are looking for skilled and dependable Maintenance Technicians to support equipment and facilities across our Texas car wash locations.

This is a hands‑on role focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical repairs, equipment repair, facility maintenance, and emergency service. The Maintenance Technician helps minimize equipment downtime and keeps our locations operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

This position is a great fit for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, equipment repair, automotive service, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or skilled trades.

What You’ll Do

Equipment & Maintenance

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on commercial car wash equipment and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Repair, replace, and adjust equipment components.
• Maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, sensors, valves, plumbing, and related systems.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they become major repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
• Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of new equipment.

Facility Maintenance

• Complete general building and facility repairs.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, lighting, doors, fixtures, drainage, and other facility issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Documentation & Communication

• Document repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Track parts and supplies needed for repairs.
• Communicate equipment concerns and recurring issues to leadership.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend long‑term solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, equipment repair, industrial maintenance, mechanical or electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, automotive service, manufacturing, or a related skilled trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between multiple locations within your assigned Texas region.

QualificationsPreferred Experience

• Commercial or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Automated car wash equipment.
• Pumps, motors, conveyors, belts, bearings, valves, or sensors.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Plumbing or hydraulic systems.
• Preventive maintenance programs.
• Technical school, vocational training, or trade certification.

Work Requirements

• Full-time position supporting ClearWater and BlueWave locations throughout Texas.
• Regular travel between locations within your assigned region is required.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, machinery, and moving equipment while following safety procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform hands‑on maintenance for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, parts, and materials as needed.
• Occasional after‑hours, weekend, or emergency maintenance may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $25–$32 per hour

Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and technical skills.
