Car Wash Maintenance Technician – Job Description

Car Wash Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: The Car Wash Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the day-today operations of the car wash equipment and physical assets of the company. The Car Wash Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance.

Car Wash Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular inspections and ensure upkeep and maintenance of all car wash systems
• Perform repairs and/or adjustments to the car wash equipment
• Assist in making decisions on repairs and report major problems to the Regional Manager of Facilities and Maintenance as appropriate
• Utilize Service Channel (CMMS) for work orders and to document work performed
• Source and order parts as needed
• Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions
• Respond to emergencies in a timely manner, which includes calls outside of normal working hours
• Develop and maintain good rapport with the car wash retail team
• Maintain company-owned truck, including always keeping supplies and proper tools on hand
• Other job-related duties as assigned
  
  

Experience/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years serving or installing car wash equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical maintenance
• Ability to operate hand power tolls safely and efficiently
• Valid Driver’s License
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform light welding tasks
• Specific knowledge of Belanger or AVW car wash equipment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
  
  

Hours

• The Car Wash Maintenance Technician is a full-time position and works 40 hours per week
