Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a Car Wash Maintenance Tech in Lisle, IL to perform maintenance on Holiday car washes and related equipment. You will analyze electrical and mechanical problems, complete repairs, and communicate technical issues to store staff.

You will maintain company assets, including service vehicles and tools, and keep logs of daily work and store visits. Evening or weekend work may be required, and dispatch may occur as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training valued.
• Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment and mechanics.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use a Volt/Ohm meter.
• Excellent communication; clean driving record.
• 2–4 years in maintenance with equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Communicate with customers and explain technical issues to non-technical people. Maintain company assets, including service vehicles, tools and equipment. Regular contact with supervisor, car wash category manager and store personnel Self-starter who enjoys working independently with-in a team environment. Required to carry a pager and be available for emergencies on a regular basis. Work day and work hours will vary as determined and seasons require. Evenings and weekend work may be required. Complete company forms and reports accurately and completely including logs of daily work and store visits. Technician may be dispatched or routed via car wash dispatcher Work Oasis or the help desk and communicate to stores, supervisors, helpdesk personal and outside vendors as needed. Other duties as requested by Supervisors**Qualifications**High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school education preferred, but not required Have a basic knowledge of electro mechanical equipment, excellent mechanical background a must. Must have excellent problem solving and decision making skills, ability to perform work with minimal or no supervision or assistance Demonstrated knowledge of equipment maintenance and OSHA regulations Good mechanical abilities and a good understanding of mechanical systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and trouble shoot electrical issues using a Volt/Ohm meter.
