Position Overview

The car wash attendant is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services; take and process wash payments to customer satisfaction.
• Perform cleaning of the facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized (water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, and grease gun).
• Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning the car wash process.
• Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude.
• Guide customers to directional signs, instruct neutral, no-brake, and no-steering while watching customers to ensure directions are followed.
• Smile at customers and give a thumbs-up after the guest is in neutral with no brakes.
• Carry out a visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area.
• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily.
• Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung.
• With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, the home office, and teammates.
• Employees may be asked to complete tasks outside of this list within management's reason for their job description.
