Job summary

Tip Top Car Wash in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a friendly car wash attendant to operate the wash facility and provide outstanding customer service. You will greet customers, explain services, process payments, assist with the wash process, and move vehicles through the express tunnel with a positive, attentive attitude.

This position can be full-time or part-time, offers flexible schedules, PTO, free car washes, training, and opportunities for career development while working outdoors in all

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and explain available wash services to them; take and process wash payments to the satisfaction of customers and car wash
• Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized (water hoses, nozzles, brushes, soap buckets, broom, hand tools, pressure washer, and grease gun)
• Provide assistance to customers in any area concerning car wash process
• Move or direct cars into the express wash tunnel with a pleasant, focused, and competent attitude
• Points to directional sign; neutral, no-brake, no steering while watching the customer to ensure directions are followed.
• Smiles at customer and does thumbs up after guest is in neutral with no brakes
• Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area
• Ensure company policies and safety procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily
• Ensure vacuums are unclogged, trash cans emptied, and hoses properly hung
• With a sense of urgency, ensure the right thing is done at the right time with customers, home office, and fellow teammates.
