Circle K seeks a Car Wash Attendant in Brookfield, IL to greet customers, assist at the pay stations, and guide vehicles through the wash. You will help customers understand wash options, promote memberships, and maintain a clean, safe outdoor work area in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include daily upkeep, basic troubleshooting, and teamwork with a goal of delivering excellent service. The role may involve physical tasks and following safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, and explaining the wash options available.
• Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer that comes through the wash.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Upkeep the condition of the car wash by performing cleaning tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer to clean the wash bay.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Reports to work on time and follows the dress and appearance code.

Duties and Job Breakdown Percentages:

70% Customer Interaction

20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)

5% Opening/Closing Procedures

5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

EXPERIENCE:

• Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE). This person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which means this person will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
