Job summary

Balise Motor Sales is seeking a results-oriented team member for an on-site car wash location in Springfield, MA. The role involves greeting customers, guiding vehicles through the tunnel, and processing payments while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include account updates, upselling memberships where applicable, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the detail department as needed. Availability for open/close shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Team player with a friendly demeanor.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.

Job Location: PT Car Wash Springfield - Springfield, MA 01119, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly, *COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY*

Job Description

• Greet customers as they drive up to payment station and tunnels.
• Direct and instruct drivers into the tunnel conveyor.
• Deliver excellent service to all customers; positive interactions including answering questions.
• Manage customer's accounts; updating credit card information as needed, upselling, etc.
• Operate cash register and process payments inside for those customers who don’t drive up.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
• Empty trash cans around Vacuum site and facility.
• Maintain clean restrooms.
• Attend team meetings.
• Assist detail department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Must be available for potential open and/or closing shifts
• This position has the ability to earn commissions based on selling memberships

Environmental & Physical Requirements

• This position requires you to work in various weather conditions
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
• The employee may also incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
