Job summary

Circle K Store 4701835 at 1625 W Main St, St. Charles, Illinois 60174 is seeking a capable store supervisor/manager-in-charge when the Site Manager is unavailable.

The role focuses on ordering, stocking, training, and scheduling, with hands-on supervision of team activities and PM checks in a busy car wash environment. Candidates should have 3+ years retail experience with supervisory duties; strong sales, customer service, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred.
• Leadership and communication skills including active listening.
• Experience with team building
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Ability to anticipate customer needs
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong work ethics and professional attitude

Responsibilities

• Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team
• Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
• Able to create an effective schedule.
• Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation
• Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system)
• Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings.
• Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses
• Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed.
• Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown

EXPERIENCE:

• Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role.
• Candidates with supervisory experience from a Big Box environment or auto industry, car wash or lube store are encouraged to apply.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
• This position works in a typical outdoor car wash environment.
• The noise level is usually moderate but can be excessively loud with hearing protection required (along with other PPE).
• This person must adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and protocols which means this person will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as, but not limited to hearing, eye, foot, hand protection.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The team member must be capable of performing their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
