Job description

We are looking for Car Valet/Service Porters to join our winning team!

Duties, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
  2. Controls service traffic flow, parking, and assists with loaner vehicles as needed. Parks vehicles after they have been written up.
  3. Drives safely and reports any lot damage immediately. Zero lot damage is the goal and the expectation.
  4. Retrieves customer vehicles for pick-up and thanks customers for their business.
  5. Installs disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all the vehicles taken in for service.
  6. Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash, water, leaves, and dirt.
  7. Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  8. Makes key tags for vehicles.
  9. Maintains a professional appearance.
  10. Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
  11. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  12. Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  13. Ability to work in various temperature environments (outside in various weather conditions, and in the store).
  14. Ability to stand during the entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
  15. Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
  16. Ability, on a consistent basis, to bend/twist at the waist and knees.
  17. Safely maneuvers vehicles in tight and small spaces.
  18. Performs other duties as assigned.
