Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Scientist, Lab Manager to oversee Cambridge-based CAR T-cell research operations. You will manage daily lab operations, coordinate space and equipment needs, and drive process improvements while maintaining a safe, compliant research environment.

Collaborating with scientific teams, site operations, and safety functions, you will ensure proper onboarding of new team members and maintain inventory and equipment readiness for ongoing experiments.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in biology, biotechnology, or related field with 4-6 years of biotech or pharma lab experience.
• Strong mammalian cell culture and molecular biology skills.
• Experience managing lab equipment and operations.
• Effective cross-team communicator and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily lab operations and ensure efficient workflows.
• Coordinate space and equipment needs and support lab safety and regulatory compliance.
• Implement process improvements and maintain equipment and inventory.
• Onboard new team members and serve as interface with site operations, EHS, procurement, and external vendors.
