Job summary

Gillman Automotive Group in Harlingen, TX is seeking a motivated car porter/lot tech to support daily dealership operations. You will move cars, wash vehicles, and keep the lot neat and presentable for customers.

Responsibilities include washing, waxing, cleaning interiors and exteriors, inspecting engines, and assisting with the lot's upkeep. No extensive experience required; eligibility to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• Up to six months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and pass pre-employment screening to include MVR, drug screen, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Washes, waxes, and buffs vehicles, dressing wheels and tires
• Vacuums interiors and trunks
• Cleans all glass components thoroughly
• Inspects and cleans engine compartment
• Operates car wash where available
• Follows the quality control checklist; includes list of everything done prior to client pick-up
• Attends weekly department meetings
• Other duties as assigned by management
