Job summary

Hertz is seeking personnel to manage car flow, inventory, and lot presentation at our locations. The role involves logging arrivals in the fleet system, ensuring front-line readiness with accurate pricing and documentation, and supporting dealer trades and customer pickups.

The position requires a valid driver's license, minimum age of 20, and scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training and advancement opportunities are available within a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid driver's license, must be at least 20 years of age and have flexibility in scheduling which may include nights, weekends and holidays. Shift schedules are assigned according to operational needs, so candidates must be able to work any assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Control the flow of cars, inventory management checking and logging in new arrivals and enter correct status in the fleet computer system.
• Merchandise the lot, ensure vehicles are front-line ready and have correct pricing stickers, buyers guide and frame plates; park and align cars for a presentable sales lot.
• Manage the back-overflow lot; shuttle cars to vendors, assist with dealer trades and pickup customers as needed.
• Assist with maintaining fuel logs and other reports requested by the Location Manager; file reports as needed.
