Job summary

ConGlobal is hiring for a Car Loader/Unloader in Milpitas, CA. This full-time role involves moving vehicles within our terminal, driving on/off railcars, and parking for inventory checks. A valid driver’s license is required, and the schedule runs five days per week with Friday through Sunday shifts.

Starting pay is $27.58/hour with paid training, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career advancement. Candidates must pass pre-employment checks and drug screening.

Starting Pay: $27.58/hour

Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire

Schedule: start time 5:00AM or 6:00AM, 5 days a week, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are required.

About The Role

As a Car Loader/Unloader, you play a vital role in the movement of vehicles within our terminal operations. You'll be responsible for safely driving vehicles on and off railcars, then properly parking them in designated lots for inventory checks and quality control. Your attention to detail and safety ensures efficient operations and protects valuable cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles onto and off of railcars safely and efficiently.
• Park vehicles in designated areas for processing, inventory, and inspection.
• Conduct basic inspections to identify and report any visible damage or quality issues.
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely vehicle movement.
• Follow all safety procedures, speed limits, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• A willingness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 40lbs over head while standing
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs both off and on railcars
• Manual transmission experience preferred, but not required
• Open availability required, with the ability to work 5 days a week.
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
• The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
