Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Document and perform work as outlined on repair order.
• Drain oil and replace filters.
• Inspect fluid levels and replenish as necessary.
• Check tire pressure and add air.
• Communicate with parts department for parts.
• Keep shop area neat and clean; maintain tool accountability.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and communicate with Service Advisor.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
