Job summary

Fuse is seeking a Proposal & Capture Lead to drive revenue growth by shaping win strategies, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering compelling technical narratives and compliant proposal content.

You will translate complex fusion technology into clear storytelling for government and commercial solicitations, manage timelines, and mentor teammates in high-output environments. Relocation may be required for DC or CA offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business, government, or defense contracting with proposal-writing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex ideas.
• Ability to identify gaps and propose solutions across stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Support capture strategy, including competitive analysis, teaming decisions, and win themes.
• Lead and coordinate proposal development from kickoff to submission.
• Write, edit, and manage proposal volumes for compliance and persuasiveness.
• Coordinate inputs from SMEs, engineering, contracts, and leadership.
• Develop and maintain proposal templates and content libraries.
• Create technical and go-to-market content with engineering and business teams.
• Write narratives translating capabilities into compelling stories.
• Review and edit documentation to high quality.
• Identify and resolve gaps in existing documentation.
• Maintain writing style guides across content types.
