Role Overview:

The Capture Manager for DoW/IC/SI develops and builds new business for large complex opportunities while helping to define a repeatable and successful GTM for both new product and services opportunities in cybersecurity. You will engage with the sales team, customers, and partners to create mutually beneficial business ideas to achieve target revenue for new business.

As a Capture Manager with Business Development skills, you will collaborate with the Field Sales Reps, Presales Engineers, and Professional Services Team to lead the adoption and acceleration of Trellix’s security solutions into the Public Sector marketplace for DoW/IC/SI customers. You will identify target opportunities, developing your joint pipeline with the team, leading long term capture pursuits built around our product portfolio. You'll work with prospects and partners as a subject-matter experts to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets customer requirements. You will report to the Vice President of DoW/IC/SI.

About the Role:

• You will work in coordination as an essential member of the sales team to help generate pipeline to meet revenue goals.
• Needs to meet and exceed assigned pipeline and bookings goals.
• You will help build relationships within customers and partners across all levels, especially C-Level.
• Lead strategic long-term capture pursuits and forecast with good insight and accuracy.
• Ability to work with Product Managers, Sales Engineering, Sales operations, Legal, Professional Services and other areas of Trellix in closing large complex opportunities - collaboration and the importance of supporting your team is critical.
• Have the ability to incubate and pioneer sales GTM approaches and techniques.
• Understand the broad security environment and Trellix's unique security strategy.
• Have great writing skills to create content for RFI’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, and white papers to support pipeline generation and GTM success for our security solutions.
• Have the ability to create high impact presentations, representing Trellix's business and value proposition, as a trusted advisor for end-users.

About You:

• Strong leadership and accountability for your Capture pipeline.
• Excellent customer focus, strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a dynamic sales organization.
• 4+ years of Capture experience selling solutions, products, and services.
• Experience selling into major accounts within DoW/IC/SI.
• Excellent writing skills and great experience of responding to large government RFI's/RFP's/BAA's and white papers.
• Excellent record of accomplishments for managing and closing large complex deals with software and hardware solutions and/or services.
• Business development expertise working with sales teams.
• Need to be a U.S. citizen.
• Strong presentation skills to sell complex security solutions to all levels inside of Trellix and with customers.

Base Pay Range: $200,000 - $240,000. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
