Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 5 years of related experience; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• CPA or Certified in Captive Insurance is preferred.
• Strong accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of insurance policies, ensuring all policy documents are accurate and up-to-date.
• Oversee the processing of insurance claims, ensuring they are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, make forecasts, and provide recommendations for financial planning.
• Prepare and file tax returns for the captive insurance entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Monitor the performance of the captive’s investment portfolio, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
• Train and mentor junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
