Job summary

IYC seeks a Captain/Engineer and Stew/Deck team for a 30m motor yacht based in Palm Beach. The crew will handle private charters to the Bahamas and require hands-on operation across all yacht functions.

The Captain should have strong engineering experience and cruising knowledge in South Florida and the Bahamas; new-build experience is a plus. STCW/ENG1 and Master 500 are preferred, with visas possibly required depending on region.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Captain with yacht operations and maintenance.

We are after a Captain/Engineer + Stew/Deck team for a 30m MY. Yacht is based in Palm beach. Private program with charters in the Bahamas.The ideal Captain will have a strong engineering background combined with extensive cruising experience throughout South Florida and the Bahamas, with new-build experience considered a significant advantage. A practical, proactive approach is essential, as is the ability to take a hands-on role across all aspects of the yacht’s operation; fishing experience would be highly beneficial. The Stew/Deck candidate should be confident across all areas of the interior, with a particular strength in service, while also being willing and able to assist the Captain with deck operations and tender duties when required.
