Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a Captain to lead safe, efficient operations on the Legacy 500 / Praetor 600. You will set the tone on the flight deck, champion SOPs and CRM, and deliver a seamless passenger experience from preflight to shutdown while growing expertise on a leading midsize platform.

You will apply a robust CRM, mentor the crew, and ensure compliance with regulations, while maintaining top-tier service. Training is provided for EMB-550 type rating and onboarding to keep you current.

Qualifications

• FAA ATP license is required; Class 1 medical certificate is required.
• EMB-550 type rating preferred; training provided on request.
• Passport and radiotelephony license are required for operations.

Responsibilities

• Exercise PIC authority with safety mindset and decisive leadership.
• Plan and execute flights end-to-end: performance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, routing, and alternates.
• Apply CRM principles, brief effectively, and mentor crew to standards.
• Adhere to SOPs and all applicable regulations and policies.
• Deliver exceptional passenger experience balancing efficiency, comfort, and discretion.
• Maintain aircraft and crew documentation, currency, and training records.
• Represent the operation professionally with partners and clients.
